Adam "Nick" Nicholas Morgan

Adam “Nick” Morgan, age 43 of Rolla, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at St Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

Nick was born April 8, 1981, in North Kansas City, MO, a son to Dennis Morgan, who preceded him in death and Sonja (Brewster) Childers who survives of Rolla.

Nick was a 1999 graduate of Rolla High School.

He worked as an independent roofing contractor for over 25 years.

Nick had a very strong Christian faith and knew the bible very well. He is at peace in the arms of his savior.

He enjoyed hunting. He also enjoyed going fishing with his children. He was very artistic and loved to paint and draw. If he saw a guitar, he would pick it up and play it, as he was very musically inclined. His greatest love was time spent with his children.

Nick would give you the shirt off his back. His heart overflowed with love towards others. He never knew a stranger.

In addition to his mother Sonja and his step father Steve Childers of Rolla, Nick is survived by two sons, Tyler and Bradley Morgan and two daughters Kaylie and Keira Morgan all of O’Fallon, MO, his children’s mother, Michelle Morgan of O’Fallon, one brother, Shaun (Suzanne Smith) Morgan of Nevada, MO, one sister Elizabeth (Jason) Hedrick of Rolla, his stepmother, Linda Morgan of Warsaw, two nieces and three nephews as well as many other family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Rolla First Assembly of God Church, 1608 N. Oak St.

A Celebration of Nick’s life will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Lance Langenberg officiating.

The burial will be at a later date in the Rolla City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Nick Morgan Children’s Memorial Fund c/o Phelps County Bank.
