Alvin Dick

  Alvin S. Dick, age 75 of Rolla, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at his residence.   Alvin was born on January 6, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Stanton and Ruth (Muddiman)Dick.    Alvin was a 1959 graduate of Hughes High School.   On June 18, 2005, Alvin was united in marriage to Karen (Skaggs) Dick, who survives at their home.    Alvin was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Rolla.   In addition to his wife of ten years, Alvin is survived by: a son, Rob Dick of Erlanger, KY; a daughter, Debra Dedden and her husband Jay of Burlington, KY; a sister, Patricia O'Bryan and her husband Joe of Cincinnati, OH; two grandsons, Zach Dedden and wife Lauren of Burlington, KY and Sam Dedden of Burlington, KY; two granddaughters, Megan Dixon of Erlanger, KY and Elizabeth Dixon of Erlanger, KY; a nephew, Jeff O'Bryan and wife Laura of Independence, KY; a niece, Pam O'Bryan of Harrison, OH, and a great niece and nephew both of Independence, KY; along with many other family members by marriage.   In addition to his parents, Alvin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dessey and Ben Muddiman and grandmother, Alma Clark.   Arrangements are under the direction of Rolla Cremation and Memorial (573-341-0220) www.rollacremation.com
