Beverly Jane (Huffman) Pogue

Beverly Jane (Huffman) Pogue (69) of Rolla, MO passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2024. 

Beverly was born on September 11, 1955, in Vichy, MO to the late Thersa Huffman McCall and Alva Huffman. In addition, she was preceded in death by husband, Jerry Pogue, stepfather, W.D. (Bud) McCall, mother and father-in-law, Rose and Calvin Pogue, four brothers-in-law, Don Sidwell, Kenny Pogue, Robert Pogue and Rick Peters and two sisters-in-law, Judy (Pogue) Brown and Martha Pogue. 

Beverly married the love of her life (Jerry) after high school. They were married 47 years and had one child, Dustin Pogue. Her greatest joy was being a wife and mother. She loved her family dearly, cherished her many friends and adored her pets. Beverly put God above all else and had the heart of a servant. Bev retired from Missouri S&T in 2017, a job she loved. 

Beverly will be dearly missed by her surviving family consisting of one son, Dustin Pogue and wife Amanda, two sisters, Kay Sidwell and husband Bob Harris, Sharon Weise and husband Ted, three sisters-in-law, Oma Lee Reese and husband Dennis, Sharon Peters, Vicki Parsons and husband Randy as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Rolla Lions Club Den from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
