Bonnie Lou Adams

 Bonnie Lou Adams, age 74 of St. James passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at her daughters residence in St. James.  Bonnie was born on January 13, 1944 in Cutler, Illinois, a daughter to the late Wivalle and Mary (Burnett) Lipe. On September 23, 1961, Bonnie was united in marriage to Gary Thomas Adams in East St. Louis, Ill. He preceded her in death November 9, 2015.  Bonnie enjoyed reading mysteries, crocheting, playing games, pogo and spending time with family. Survivors include: one son, Bryan Adams and his wife Melissa of Rolla, one daughter, Michelle Christine (Adams) Chick and her husband Dan of St. James, five sisters, Jean Stephan and her husband Norman of Ill., Verna Mae Mills of KY, Sharon Kuscsik and her husband Andy of AZ, Cindy Fitch of ILL., Marilyn Donnell of ILL., five grandsons, two granddaughters, four great grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 54 years, Bonnie was preceded in death by two sisters, Joann Wallace and Gladys Fuller. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the family home in St. James. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to The American Cancer Society or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
