Brian Alphonso Malone Jr. entered this world on November 28, 1968 in St. Louis, Mo. As he grew up, the city could no longer contain his larger-than-life soul, so he ventured out into the world to pursue his dreams. Along the way he met and changed the lives of a countless number of people, and started a family, (or producing his legacies, as he would proudly state). Brian loved playing the blues on his guitar, traveling across the states, meeting new people, and watching his family grow. He had many nicknames, for example Big Al, Al-a-Belly, Buffalo Soldier, The White Buffalo (in honor of his Native American ancestry), and fondly Fat Albert to a few nieces and nephews. You could also refer to him as “The big guy with all the long dreads”. Those dreadlocks were his crowning glory. Brian left this world on December 6, 2023, from Silverstone Place in Rolla, MO, surrounded by friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father and namesake Alphonso Malone Sr., his statuesque mother Delores Gene Bradshaw, one sister, Darlene, and three brothers, Johnny, Mark, and Yule, all from the St. Louis area. Brian left behind his brother Rodney of Rolla, Danny and Brian of St. Louis, and Kieth of Colorado, along with eight more brothers and 4 more sisters. Yes, his father was a busy man. .Brian also left behind 6 legacies. Erica Towery of Sullivan, Johnny Malone and Autym Malone of Rolla, Keely Horn of Kansas City, ShadaFaith Malone in Seoul, South Korea, and Wynter Malone of Springfield, Mo, six grandchildren, and a vast array of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Rest in forgiveness, dear friend
