It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Caroline “Debbie” Hollis on December 4, 2024, at the age of 72. Debbie was born on November 11, 1952, in St. Louis, MO, to Alfred and Louise (Crismon) Albertson. She was married on June 26, 1971, in Vienna, MO, to Daryl W. Hollis.
Debbie had various jobs before becoming the bookkeeper for the family business for 19 years. The remainder of her life was dedicated to spending time with and spoiling her three grandkids and later her five great-grandkids.
Debbie’s greatest joy was being a grandma - playing cards, games and making her grandkids laugh. She also enjoyed hunting for mushrooms, crocheting, Wheel of Fortune, going to the boat, and taking pictures to capture moments with her family.
Those left to celebrate Debbie’s life include her husband of 53 years, Daryl, of the home near Vienna; one son, Craig (Stacie) Hollis, also of Vienna; three grandkids, Justin (Katrina) Hollis, Hartsburg, MO; Calee (Seth) Rhoads, Clever, MO and Nathan (Georgia) Hollis, Vienna; five great-grandkids, Carter Rhoads, Henry Hollis, Everett Hollis, Adler Hollis, and Payton Rhoads; one brother, Danny (Helen) Albertson; one sister, Karen (Mike) Davis, as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Alfred on April 13, 1998; mother, Louise on June 17, 2022; two sisters, Linda Albertson and June Luebbert; one brother-in-law, Emil Luebbert.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held at a later time.
