Carolyn Ann Turner (Skaggs)

Carolyn Ann (Skaggs) Turner, age 75 of Rolla passed away on Monday April 24, 2023. She was
born April 12, 191948, in Phelps County to the late Charles Roland Skaggs and Alice Faye (Patton) Skaggs.

Carolyn attended Rolla Public Schools, and after graduating became a certified medication
technician for over 25 years. She was an active member of the Pentecostal church.
She spent her free time fishing, crafting, crocheting, playing Yahtzee, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by one sister Beverly Blankenship;
three brothers Charles Skaggs, Jr., William Robert Skaggs and Jimmy Lee Skaggs; sons Robert
Dale Skaggs and David Deon Johnston; brother-in-law Ronald H. Miller; and one nephew Dewayne Skaggs

Those left to mourn her loss are her son Charles Glennon Johnston, Jr. of Springfield, MO; two
brothers Allen Skaggs and wife of Vida, MO and Edward Skaggs and wife of Jerome; sisters
Effie Furse and husband of Doolittle, MO and Sandra Miller of Rolla, MO; nine grandchildren
Justin Skaggs, James Skaggs, Samantha Skaggs, Dezarae Gilmore, Rachel Kutscher, Nick
Johnston, Lucas Johnston, Michael Skaggs, and Zane Skaggs as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
