Cora Marie Zimmerman

Cora Marie Zimmerman, aged 82 of Rolla, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Rolla Health and Rehab in Rolla.

Cora was born May 9, 1938, in Farmington, Mo, a daughter to the late Guy Thomas and Birdie Mae (Henderson) Martin.

On July 22, 1960, Cora was united in marriage to Robert Joseph Zimmerman. He preceded her in death.

Cora worked as a CNA for 30 plus years and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Cora is survived by her daughter, Brenda Zimmerman, a daughter-in-law, Lilah Newkirk, a granddaughter, Anna Marie Dall, one grandson, Maisyn Lee Koger, a sister Dorothy Blevins and brothers Carl Clayton and Melvin Martin.

In addition to her parents and spouse, Cora was preceded in death by three brothers, James Martin, William “Bill” Martin and Robert “Bob” Martin as well as three sisters, Glenda Spradling, Pearl (Martin) Foree and Gladys Young.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020, at the Big River Cemetery in Irondale, MO.
