Corbin Reed Sims

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Corbin Reed Sims, who passed away on April 8th, 2025, at the age of 16. Born on August 18th, 2008 in Jefferson City, MO, Corbin brought immeasurable joy to our lives. He was a bright and caring young man known for his intelligence, humor, and his kindness to others. Corbin had a passion for table top gaming, painting models, Fuel youth group activities, and robotics. Corbin excelled in robotics leading his team to the state finals for three consecutive years. He was nominated as Dean's List Semi-Finalist in 2025 for displaying exemplary leadership.

He is survived by his parents, Shanna and Ryan, and his siblings, Ava, Nolan, and Abel Sims. He was also deeply loved by his extended family and many friends. Corbin touched the lives of all who knew him with his humor and kindness.

A visitation service will be held in his honor at Greentree Christian Church on April 17th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held the following evening on April 18th starting at 5:30 p.m. at Greentree Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Greentree Christian Church to be distributed to Friends of Rolla Robotics & CIY (Christ in Youth summer camp).
