Darrell Rogers

   Darrell (Duke) Rogers, age 73 of St. James, passed away May 7th, 2017 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla. Darrell was born on December 30th, 1943, a son to the late Burgess and Hester (Wagner) Rogers. Darrell was well known as the owner of Top Dollar Pawn since 1978.  Darrell is survived by and will be greatly missed by two sons: Charles (Chuck) Rogers and his wife Renee of St. James, Mo., Darrell Rogers and his wife Jackie of St. James, Mo., one daughter, Chelsea Long and her husband David of Rolla, Mo., seven grandchildren, Emma, Chloe, and Elye Rogers of St. James, Mo., Jacob Shackelfurd of Rolla Mo., Austin Long of Rolla, Mo., Lizzie Mahaney of St. James, Mo., Logan Persicke and his wife Melissa of St. James. Mo., one great grandchild Mackenzie Persicke, one brother Roy Rogers and wife Dana of Effingham, Illinois, several nieces and nephews, other family and friends.  There was a private family memorial service held in Effingham, Illinois. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association 7745 Carondelet Ave Clayton, Mo. 63105. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Rolla Cremation and Memorial 11930 County Road 2070 Rolla, Mo 65402. (573) 341-0220
