Darryl "Kevin" Copeland

  Darryl "Kevin" Copeland, age 57 of St. James, Mo., passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Rolla Health and Rehab in Rolla. Kevin was born on December 16, 1960 in St. Louis, Mo., a son to the late Horace and Barbara Jean (Rice) Copeland.  Kevin loved to ride his motorcycle, play the harmonica, learning about the Indian culture and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: one daughter, Heather Copeland; one son, Douglas Smith; and one step-son, Jason Shockley; three brothers, J.R. Copeland and Deb Townsend of Winfield, Mo., Bob Copeland and his wife Joann of Elsberry, Mo., Ed Copeland and his wife Patty of St. Charles, Mo.; three sisters, Diane Bishop and Ralph McFadden of Fulton, Mo., Donna Usery and her husband Don of St. James, Mo., Darlene Fields and her husband Bob of Rolla, Mo., many nieces, nephews, and host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Kevin is preceded in death by his step dad, Don Olive; one brother, Harvey Michael Copeland; and one sister, Tammy Jean Copeland Boyd. A memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at the High Gate Baptist Church in High Gate, Mo.  Inurnment to follow, after services at the High Gate Cemetery.
