David "Mike" Michael Simpson

   David Michael “Mike” Simpson born on June 9, 1960 in Cahokia Illinois to William David and Sally Virgie (nee Kinman) Simpson and passed away on June 27, 2023 at the age of 63 years.

   He married Angela Lamb on December 28, 1985 in Newburg, Missouri.

   He married Karen Hood on May 8, 2021 in Tybee Island, Georgia.

   He was employed with American Water for 38 years.  

   He liked to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors. He loved his cats.     He enjoyed a good cup of coffee and visiting with friends.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sally Simpson; first wife, Angela on October 11, 2012; and second wife, Karen on December 12, 2021.

   He is survived by cousins, Renee and Donnie Miller and Ryan Miller of St. James, Missouri; step daughter, Jamie and Brian Redding of Georgia and their children Andrea and Michael; his cats; and many friends.

   Cremation services have taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
