Dean Michael Saunders

Dean Michael Saunders, age 59, of West Plains, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the Salem Care Center in Salem.

Dean was born May 18, 1962, in Baltimore, MD, a son to Francis and Carolyn (Folks) Saunders.
Dean attended school at Calvert High School in Prince Frederick, MD.
After high school Dean went to work as an over the road truck driver where he spent the better half of 40 years.
Dean was a member of the Amvets Riders, Bikers United and Sons of Bedlam Riding Clubs.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, organizing rides and spending time with family and friends.
Dean is survived by: his mother Carolyn Bays of St. Leonard, MD; two sons, Justin Saunders and his wife Naomi of West Plains and Brandon Saunders and his wife Katie of Dunkirk, MD; one daughter, Toni Saunders of Baltimore; one brother, Glen Saunders of the state of North Carolina; four sisters, Sandi Saunders of Prince Frederick, MD, Judi Deutsche and her husband Steve of the state of Wisconsin, Shawn Canter and her husband Rick of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Wendy Atkins and her husband Eugene of St. Leonard MD; six grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dean was preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne Saunders.
A Celebration of Life was held for Dean on Saturday, October 2, 2021. at Galloway Park in West Plains followed by Dean’s Last Ride at 10am.
