Dwight Alan Melton

Dwight Alan Melton, age 62 of Rolla, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, at the University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

Dwight was born February 28, 1958, in Rolla, a son to the late Noah and Georgia (Olson) Melton-Hunt

Dwight was a member of the House of Hope Ministries in Springfield and enjoyed playing pool, fishing, hunting, shooting guns, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Dwight is survived by a daughter, Brandi Melton, a grandson, Tate Melton, a sister-in-law, Brenda Melton, a nephew, Travis Melton and a stepbrother, Chuck Hunt.

In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by his stepfather, Tom Hunt and a brother, Wayne Melton.

A Celebration of Dwight’s life will be held at a day and time to be determined. The celebration of life will be held at Boiling Springs Campground off the Jerome exit on I-44 and then off Hwy P. For further information you can contact Brandi Melton on Facebook.
