It is with great sadness that the family of Edna Elizabeth Miloro, announces her passing on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the age of 69 years. Edna died peacefully in her home after her courageous battle with cancer. Edna was born on June 13, 1949 in Meta, Missouri to the late Henry and Elizabeth Hake Handing. She is survived by her two sisters, Gertrude "Gertie" Hendricks and Hilda Handing. Edna was married in Vienna, Missouri to Eldon Reeves from June 17, 1965 until his death in 2002. From this union, they had two daughters, Kristy and Jennifer. Edna is survived by her husband and best friend, Ed Miloro of the home. They were married in Rolla, Missouri on December 19, 2005. Together they loved to visit local restaurants and listen to live bands and artists where they enjoyed the company of their family and friends. While at home, they enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and NASCAR. Edna was a true fan of country music. She loved watching the birds and sitting out by their flower and vegetable garden. Edna adored both their cats, Sam and Annabelle. She loved visiting the beach. Edna's favorite time of year was fall, when she and Ed could travel the Missouri Ozarks and view the magnificent colors of fall. Most of all, Edna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed attending their events and family gatherings. She was a sweet spirit with a kind soul and will be remembered for always having a smile for everyone. Edna's daughter, Jennifer Reeves, proceeded her in death. Survivors include daughter Kristy and husband Jimmy Logan, Grandchildren Ryan Struemph, Brandon Struemph and Fiance Samantha Steinwinder, KyLeigh Logan, KarLeigh Briscoe, and Great grandchild Kenslee Struemph. Other survivors include stepdaughters Lynette & husband Michael Manley, Jill Miloro, Randi & husband Michael Wools, Grandchildren Megan & husband Chris Zika, Brandon Newkirk, Lane Miloro, Stone Smith, Dean Miloro, Logan, Lakyn & Lexi Wools, and Great-grandchildren, Adie & Ross Zika and Hannah Manley. Edna will also be forever remembered by special family Joe and Sara Briscoe and children Dillon & Paige, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dearest friends. Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Edna on Thursday, September 6th, from 4-6 p.m., at the Eugene Northern Community Hall, 400 West Fourth Street, Rolla. The memorial service will be held at 5:45 p.m. In memory of Edna, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Donation cards will be available at the memorial service.
