Frank E. Hance, age 70 of Rolla, passed away December 4, 2018 at his residence. Frank was born on December 31, 1947 in Newburg, Mo., a son to the late Franklin and Frances (Hoffmier) Hance. On September 2, 1995, he was united in marriage to Anna (Foust) Fleig in Bourbon, Mo. She survives of the home. Frank had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in 1994. Frank attended school in Rolla, and served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. After his military service he hauled clay for Bullock Clay Mining and was a mechanic at Larry Davis Inc., for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, traveling, gardening, woodworking and any kind of handy man jobs. In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son, Frankie Hance of St. James, his step children; Jimmy Oatman and his wife Sharon of Cuba, Amanda Littrell and her husband Wes of Leasburg, Nina Brothers and her husband Dennis of Salem, three grandchildren, Jacqueline Littrell, Nelson Brothers, Kyle Brothers, one sister, Doris Carl of Rolla, Brothers and sister in laws, Helen Dunn of Granite City, IL., Susan and Larry Meatte, Eunice and Sam Bouse, Beverly Miller, Patty Foust, Larry Foust all of Cuba and Reba Foust of Rolla, many nieces and nephews and his very best friend Shirley Weber. He is preceded in death by his parents, his step father Bob Mitchell, Brother-in-laws Harry Carl, Clyde Miller, Eugene Foust, Benny Dunn, and his best friend John Weber. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in St. James. Burial will be held at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville. In Lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to: The Awanas at the First Baptist Church in St. James.
