Gary Giles Goad

Gary Giles Goad, age 62 of Rolla, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021.

Gary was born on November 9, 1959, in St. Louis, a son to the late Jerry Ray and Dorothy (Durham) Goad-Bagnall.

Gary was a talented musician playing the drums, piano, trumpet and guitar. He played for many local churches as well as other venues in the area and St. Louis. Gary was an animal lover and loved being in nature. He enjoyed antique shopping and cooking. Gary was the most amazing person on the planet. He was kind, unselfish, and giving. Others needs came first. Gary will be missed greatly by his family and all those that knew and loved him.

Gary is survived by: three sons, Anthony Goad, Jonathan Goad, and Adam Goad, all of Rolla; one sister, Sue Watkins and her husband Steve of Salem; two granddaughters, Lyla and Everly Goad; his first wife, Karol Goad; and his person Jeannie Dake, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service for Gary will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the First Church of God, 615 West James Blvd, St. James, Mo 65559 beginning at 1:00 p.m. A small reception will follow with coffee and cookies.
