Gennette Dixon

Gennette Marie Dixon, age 64, of Cuba formerly of Georgetown, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.   Gennette was born on July 2, 1951, in Houston, Texas, a daughter to the late Ralph and Agnes (Richardson) Shields.   Gennette held various jobs over the years, but enjoyed being a Day Care Provider the most.   Gennette liked to read and enjoyed traveling, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandson, Aiden.    Gennette will be lovingly remembered by: her daughter, Crystal Lorah and her husband Rick of Dixon and her grandson, Aiden Lorah; one son, Chris Rash and his wife Isabel of Winnie, Texas; one brother, Ronnie Shields of Georgetown, Texas; one sister, Phyllis Skero of Georgetown, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kara Zornes and a brother-in-law, Vince Skero.   A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016, in Georgetown, Texas.   Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
