Gilbert Lee Sealock, Jr

Gilbert (Gil) Lee Sealock, Jr age 59 years passed away peacefully at his residence in St. James on June 26, 2022, after a long tough battle with multiple health conditions. 

Gil was born November 25, 1962, in Maryland.  To Gilbert and Nancy Sealock Sr.  He was a 1981 graduate of St. James High School. 

In the spring of 2006 Gil met Lora in Rolla and the two were married on May 25, 2007.  They continued to live in Rolla until they moved to St. James in 2021.   

He enjoyed demolition derbies, playing poker, relaxing at home in front of his big screen TV, playing practical jokes on unsuspecting victims, and most of all spending time with grandkids. 

Gil was preceded in death by both parents.

In addition to his wife Lora, he is survived by his son Ryan (Chelsea) Sealock of Rolla, a daughter Brandi (Corey) Cross of Rolla, Stepdaughters Nikki (Ryan) Bussell of Cuba, Malori (Chris) Reiners of Bucyrus.  He is also survived by nine grandchildren Ella and Lela Sealock, Maci and Bylee Pruitt, Joey Gamblin, Skyler Blair, Levi, Lilly, and Lanie Reiners.            

The family would also like to acknowledge and thank “bonus son’ Charles Varner of Rolla for his love and support to Gil over the past several years.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Hoppers Pub 723 N. Pine St, Rolla at 5pm on June 30, 2022.  Please feel free to join the family for drinks in remembrance of Gil.  Be sure to bring your favorite Gil story to share.
