Hezekiah Terah Eggers died on April 18, 2020, in Washington, Missouri, from lung cancer that metastasized.
He was born August 24, 1971, in Osceola, Iowa to William and Margaret (Brown) Eggers.
He lived in many places in the Midwest before coming with his family to Winterset, Iowa in 1983.
He graduated from Carlisle High School in Iowa in 1990.
He went to truck driving school at DMACC in Ankeny, Iowa in 1992, and had been driving a truck ever since except for a year when he was recovering from Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
He settled on a farm in Gasconade county Missouri in 2015.
He loved putting together puzzles and playing games of strategy. He has always had a love for animals. He almost always had a dog in the truck with him as he was driving down the road. Spending time with his family was very important to him.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Hawxby of Bland, Missouri and his father, William (Kathleen) Eggers of Winterset, Iowa, a brother, Ezekial (Toni) Eggers of Carlisle, Iowa and his sisters, Susanna (Francisco) Sanchez and Rebekah Eggers of Champaign, Illinois and Deborah (James) Lasater of Bland, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his dog Floppy.
He was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Steven Carpenter and Jeffery Weathers and two uncles, Donald Brown and Richard Eggers.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the family will hold a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at the Patterson Community Center in Patterson, Iowa with a potluck dinner to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed in his mothers name to Mid-America Bank of Belle, Missouri and any cards can be mailed to his mother at 4559 Elkhead Road, Bland, Mo 65014
