James Dean Brooks

James Dean Brooks, age 50, of Leasburg passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at his home.  

Jams was born February 12, 1974, in Modesto, California, a son to Neva Darlene Brooks. 

James worked as a clerk at Allsups in Fredrick, Oklahoma for many years. 

James liked to go fishing at the river and loved to BBQ. His favorite times were spent with family and friends. 

James is survived by his wife of many years, Lynn Green; one daughter Raelynn Brooks and her fiancé Gavin Henke of Cuba; two grandchildren who he cherished dearly,  Addalynn Henke and Kimberly Henke both of Cuba; his mother Neva Darlene Brooks and step father Johney Baughn of Cuba; one brother, Sam Minchue; a sister, Mary Minchue; and a close friend, Chubbs Henderson as well as many extended family members and friends.

There will be a candle lighting for James at Blue Springs at a later date and will be announced by Rolla Cremation.
