Jerry Dee McKim

Jerry Dee McKim, 78, of Rolla (formerly Kirksville, MO) died on May 4, 2023, at St. James Living Center in St. James, MO.

 He was born July 5, 1944, in Kirksville, MO, the son of Albert and Maggie (Harden) McKim.

Jerry married Deborah Kneeland on December 29, 1972, and they settled in Kirksville, MO. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in December 2022. Jerry enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Deborah (Kneeland); one brother, Larry (Norma) McKim; one sister, Connie Kelsey; four sons, Vince (Maddie) McKim of Newton, IA, Christopher (Melissa) McKim of Hillsboro, MO, Scott McKim of Queen City, MO, and Steve McKim; two daughters, Angie Maddox of New Cambria, MO and Meredith (Randy) McCannon; six grandchildren, Denise Patterson, Lexi McKim, Blake Grigsby, Cameron Maddox, Aaron (Amanda) Maddox and David (Jennifer) McCannon and five great-grandchildren Kyrie Patterson, Aleigha Peeler, and Jaxon Peeler and Freya and Jayden McCannon.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Donnie McKim, Richard McKim: twin sister, Mary McKim, and several other family members.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
