Joanne Marie Grannemann

Joanne Marie Grannemann (nee Dolan), of Owensville, Missouri was born December 2, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri to William Thomas Dolan and Constance Mae King. She passed away on March 27, 2025 at the age of 65 surrounded by her loving family. 

Joanne attended Pattonville High School in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Joanne found her passion and purpose in her children and stayed home with them to devote as much time to them as she could. On March 18, 2002, Joanne married James E. Grannemann. 

She was a devoted member of King's Way Bible Church in Owensville. Her love for the lord was evident to everyone. She loved praising Jesus and was incredibly strong in her faith. 

In her free time, Joanne loved nothing more than to be with her family. She leapt at any chance to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She also was a huge lover of animals. She adored her dogs and donated to the Missouri Humane Society every month. Some of her other passions included cooking, gardening, music, and motorcycles. 

Joanne is survived by her three daughters, Danielle Dolan, Angelia Dolan, and Kelly Grannemann; six grandchildren, Blayke, Aydin, Kynlee, Axyl, Lilah and Ella; sister, Donna (Don) Courtney (nee Dolan); niece, Jackie (Thomas) Courtney-Bumford; nephew, Danny Courtney; great-nephew, Thomas Bumford; great-niece, Stella Bumford; and many other cherished family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Grannemann; father, William Thomas Dolan; mother, Constance Mae King; and step-father, James Ruder. 

A celebration of life will be held at Bland Christian Church located at 710 West Highway 28, Bland, MO 65014 on Saturday, April 12, 2025 beginning at 1pm. All are welcome to come and remember Joanne.
