John Herbert Clark Jr

John Herbert Clark Jr age 65 of Rolla, died suddenly at Phelps Health surrounded by his family on July 15, 2023.

John was born on May 7, 1958, in Artesia, New Mexico to John H. Clark Sr and Daisy Ann (Alexander) Clark.  He was a member of the class of 1976 at Salem High, after high school he took further classes getting various certifications.  He used those certifications to own and operate his own business “Independent Plumbing Service, LLC."

In 1979 he married Misty Fordice, marriage lasting 27 years, after which they continued to be friends until his death.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, and most of all spending time with family.

John was predeceased by his parents, a sister Trijetta Ann (Clark) Pettus.

Those left to mourn his loss are his sister Teri Lutz of Rolla, son Elijah (Tamara) Clark of St. James, daughter Audrey Clark of Kansas City, daughter Kendra (Michael) Light of Rolla, daughter Elizabeth (Jim) Stroup of Steelville, son Isaac Clark of Rolla, daughter Victoria Clark of Rolla, 10 grandchildren, a nephew Gabe Lewis, niece Rebecca Noble, and niece Angie Lewis-Yates.

John requested no services.
