Joyce Marie (Collar) Coppage, age 88 of Licking, Mo., passed away peacefully on April 28, 2018, surrounded by her family at the Hickory Manor in Licking. Joyce was born on February 27, 1930 in Burlington, IA., a daughter to the late Edward Raymond and Helen Agnus (Partridge) Collar. Joyce was a graduate of Burlington High School and enjoyed playing bingo, word puzzles and an occasional visit to the local casino. Survivors include: five children; retired Navy Officer Steven Coppage of Lebannon, MO., Linda Coppage of Las Vegas, NV., retired Army Officer Sharon Phillippi of Licking, MO., Patricia Coppage of Barttesville, OK., Mark Coppage of Burlington, IA.; 13 grandchildren, Nicole Roth, Trisha Herridge, David Coppage, Stephanie Coppage, Dustin Coppage, Shannon Dunajski, Jamie Romero, James Coppage, Benjamin Coppage, Micheal Coppage, Allison Coppage, AJ Drewry, Courtney Drewry; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by two sons: Jeffery and James Coppage, and one brother, Robert Collar. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Steve's place with a celebration of life gathering at 1:00 pm, 852 Washington Street Burlington, IA. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to: Community Hospices of America Foundation in memory of Joyce.
