Justin Alan Cook

Justin Alan Cook, of Dixon, Missouri was born on March 1, 1988 in Rolla, Missouri to James and Dianna Cook (nee Stotler). He passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 37 in Columbia, Missouri. 

Justin attended Rolla High School where he graduated in 2007. Following high school, Justin found his true passion in finish carpentry. He attended Rolla Technical Institute to further his skills. Outside of his career, Justin was passionate about the outdoors. He loved camping, floating, 4-wheeling, and fishing in particular. Justin's lupus diagnosis limited his time in the outdoors but Justin still enjoyed his greatest passion of all, spending time with his family. He was incredibly family-oriented and loved spending time with his family whenever he could. 

He is survived by his father, James Cook; brother, Nathan (Samantha Shoemate) Cook; nephew, Oliver Cook; grandmother, Edith Cook; aunts, Mary Crabtree, Sherry (Monty) Stell, and Beth Cook; uncles, Jeff Cook and Kenny Stotler; and many cousins and additional family members. 

Justin is preceded in death by his mother, Dianna Cook (nee Stotler); grandmother, Mary Stotler; and grandfathers, Kenneth Stotler and Homer Cook. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please check back for additional information.
