Kathryn (Kay) Ruth Swift of Rolla, MO., passed away February 22, 2018, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Kay was born on April 3, 1947, in Decorah, IA., to Alanson and Adeline Lillibridge who preceded her in death. On February 2, 2002, she was united in marriage to James Swift in Rolla, MO. In 1999 Kay was given the position of Coordinator for Disease Management at Alpha Net to help people who were diagnosed with Alpha One, the disease that ultimately took her life. Kay loved to help other people, was very giving of her time, and always put other people's needs above her own. She loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Kay's hobbies were target shooting, reading, playing board and card games, and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and enjoyed these entertaining activities. In addition to her husband James, survivors include four children; Shane Kinsel (and his wife Kelly) of Laramie, WY., Shannon Payne (and her husband Randy) of Hayden, CO., Stephanie Kinsel of Bernilillo, NM., and Sherry Kinsel of Steamboat Springs, CO. In addition, Kay is survived by three step children; Chad Swift (and his wife Amanda) of Ft. Collins, CO., Melissa Swift Gallier (and her husband Joel) of Timnath, CO., and Nicole Swift of Ft. Collins, CO., fourteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Three siblings Mary Welker of Bay Town, TX., Jean Griebin (and husband James) of Spillville, IA., and James Lillibridge (and wife Renee) of Decorah, IA. also survive Kay. A memorial Celebration of Life will be held at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Rolla, MO. At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
