Kenneth Ronald Duncan Sr

Kenneth Ronald Duncan Sr, 82, of Rolla passed away on January 17, 2024, at his home.  He was born on August 07, 1941, in Rolla to the late Oscar Lloyd and Alice Mae (Perrot) Duncan. 

 

He was a 1959 graduate of Rolla High School.  After he graduated, he began working for and later owned Duncan Moving and Storage, Inc.  On May 4, 1960, he was married to Sharon Lewis who survives at the home.  

 

Kenneth was a member of the First Assembly Church of Rolla and was a certified to serve for the American Red Cross.  He enjoyed painting, studying, and sharing the Bible with all that were willing to listen.  He loved serving God. Kenneth also wrote a book “Bible Spoken Here”.  When he was younger Kenneth enjoyed camping and tinkering with old cars.  Most of all he enjoyed time spent with his friends and family.  

 

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother Jerald, sister Janice, two sons Kenneth Jr. and Bradley.  

 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Sharon, two daughters Bonnie (Tim) Giesler of Willard, MO, and Stephanie (Bryan) Adams of Wildwood, MO, a daughter in law Dana Duncan of Rolla, a brother Keith (Nancy) Duncan of Rolla,  7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Kenneth was loved by many and will be missed by all; he touched many lives during his life.

 

Memorial services will be Saturday January 27, 2024, at 10:00 am. There will be a visitation preceding from 9 to 10 am at the First Assembly of God church at 1608 N Oak St.
