Mark E Litton

Mark Edward Litton, 68, of Belle, passed away on February 2, 2024, in Jefferson City at St. Mary’s hospital after a long battle with cancer.  He was born on December 14, 1955, in Owensville to Paul and Fern (Jones) Litton.   

Mark was a lifelong resident of Belle and attended school there.  On July 17, 1988, he was married to Terri Cron whose love of 36 years will echo into eternity.

He enjoyed spending time on the river, fishing, going to sales looking for antiques, and most of all spending time with his family.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Allen “Mouse” Litton, sister Neva (wife of Danny Redel), brother-in-law Tim Rose; a daughter Michelle Corrigan, and a grandson Dylan Nichols, nephew Dusty Redel and niece Paula Sue Jones. 

Mark is survived by his wife of 36 years Terri, brother Bernie and Mitzi Litton, sister Carol Rose; children Letha and Juan Nichols, Crystal  and Jonathan Henry, James and Melba Black, and Markayla Lutz; grandchildren Emily Black, Gage Newton, Brayden Newton, Bailey Newton, Pierce Nichols Jerrica Perriguey, Journey Barker, Cole Henry, Jessa Henry, Devin Patterson, Steven Corrigan, Michael Corrigan, Alexis Corrigan, Elizabeth Crowe, Michael Crowe, Trevor Black, Austin Black, Jamilhia, Markiet, Preston, Cameron, Tyler Carr, Stormi Jade Perdorn, Thunder Lutz, and many many great grandchildren.

Services are Saturday March 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Church Alive at 101 N Belle Ave, Belle, MO 65013 led by Pastor Lorraine Bossellar.

Interment to follow at College Hill Cemetery
