Marsha Harsch

Marsha Harsch, age 73, of Dixon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at her daughter’s residence in Gravois Mills.

Marsha was born on September 14, 1950, in Maries County, a daughter to the late Herschel and Rosemary (Hawkins) Martin.  

Marsha was a 1968 graduate of Maries County R-1 in Vienna.  

On November 6, 1986, she was united in marriage to George Harsch.  George preceded her in death on August 1, 1993.

Marsha was a member of the Church of God in Dixon.  She enjoyed going to the Dixon Senior Center and having lunch with her friends.  She loved going to thrift stores, watching the shopping channel and buying/wearing jewelry. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Marsha is survived by her 3 children, Teresa (Keith) Loethen of Gravois Mills, Sherri (Eric) Schwartze of Jefferson City, and Jason Sinden of Dixon; seven grandchildren, Ashley (Eric) Schulte, Dusty (Kayla ) Loethen, Macey Rackers, Kenley Schwartze, Mick Schwartze, Drew Loethen and his fiancee Liz, and Amber (Will) Davey; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Sue Thurman of Brumley, and Elane Fritchey of Dixon; one brother, Dwayne Martin of Dixon, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.  

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the Dixon Senior Center with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Tommy Jordan officiating.  Inurnment will be held in the Dixon Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Church of God in Dixon or to the Dixon Cemetery.
