Michael Loy

Michael Loy, aged 60, of Rolla, Missouri passed away in Columbia, Missouri on February 7, 2025. He was born on November 1, 1964, in Arlington, Virginia to Charles Loy Jr. and Marylee Bigelow (nee Bilodeau). 

Michael graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1984 and went on to work as a dispatcher for Rolla Ready Mix in Rolla, Missouri. He married Kimberly Loy in Rolla on March 17, 1995. Michael and Kim went on to welcome their four beloved children, Dusty, Trevor, Kayleigh, and Hannah. 

In his free time, Michael loved working with his hands. He could often be found building things or working on vehicles. Michael loved to BBQ for his family. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his family as much as he could. 

Michael is survived by his wife, Kim Loy of Rolla, MO; son, Dusty (Bre) Wilson of Springfield, MO; son, Trevor (Hannah) Loy of Dixon, MO; daughters, Kayleigh Loy and Hannah Jercick of Rolla, MO; six grandchildren, Trenton Loy, Haven Loy, Braydin Rowe, Mason Wilson, Kinsleigh Loy, and Liam Pashia; mother, Marylee (Chet) Bigelow; one brother; and his three sisters. 

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Loy Jr., and his father-in-law, Dwight Robinson. 

Michael will be greatly missed.
