Ray Lee Hedrick, age 73 of Cuba, MO., passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. Ray was born on February 20, 1946, in St. Louis, a son to the late Raymond and Pearl (Arnold) Hedrick.

On May 4, 1991, Ray was united in marriage to Darlene M. (Schneider) Hockenberry in St. Louis. She survives of the home.

Ray attended school at McKinnely High School and Jefferson College. Ray was a St. Louis Police Officer and retired in June 1997 after 30 years of service and was a member of the Royal Masons.  He enjoyed camping, gambling, watching T.V., traveling and joking with people.

In addition to his wife, Ray is survived by three daughters, Christina Dunsmoor and her husband Rich of House Springs, MO., Angelia Stewart of Barnhart, MO., Amy Kelley of Dellwood, MO., step-children Tina Todahl of Essex, MO., Gary Hockenberry and his wife Larae of O’Fallon, MO., and Dale Hockenberry and his wife Denise of Florissant, MO., a dear grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and a dear uncle to several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd, Harold, and Carl Hedrick, two sisters, Lois Mae and Jeanette Rulo, and one grandson Phillip Gordon Todahl.

A memorial service will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Kutis Funeral Home 5255 Lemay Ferry Road St. Louis, MO. 63129
