Rebecca "Becky" J. McFarland

Rebecca “Becky” McFarland, age 41, of Edgar Springs passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at her mothers home surrounded by family. 

Becky was born on April 9, 1979, in Muncie, Indiana, a daughter to the late Ronald Berg and Reta Berg. Reta survives of her home in Licking.

Becky was a 1997 graduate of Cuba High School and attended Missouri S&T as well as Columbia College in Rolla

On November 1, 2014 she was united in marriage to Mark McFarland in Vichy, Missouri. Mark survives of their home in Edgar Springs.

Becky was employed at Salem Memorial District Hospital as a Patients Account Representative for 5 years. 

Becky was a very giving person who always put another’s needs before her own. She enjoyed photography, reading, watching movies, and country music. Becky loved spending time with her family and her two Australian Shepherds but the love of her life was her granddaughter, Evangeline. She will be missed greatly by her family and anyone who knew and loved her.

In addition to her mother, Reta, Becky is survived by: her husband, Mark McFarland; two sons, Lane and Ryan Berg; two brothers, Loren and Doug Berg and his wife Linda; one granddaughter, Evangeline Berg; one aunt, Warrenetta Cain; one sister in law, Roxanne Berg; and father and mother-in-law, Jim and Sue McFarland as well as many extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Berg and a brother, Joseph Berg.

Memorial services will take place at a later date.
