Rhea Lou Whitton

Rhea Lou Whitton, age 70 of Rolla, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at her residence.

Rhea was born February 12, 1953, in Marion, IN, a daughter to the late Donald Julian and Veloy (Miller) Wootton who survives of Rolla.

She was united in Marriage to John Whitton for 52 years. He survives of Rolla.

Rhea was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Rolla.

She enjoyed working in her flower garden and she loved her dog Ingrid who was her constant companion.

In addition to her husband and mother, Rhea is survived by three daughters, Tracy (Todd) Lowery of Homer, LA, Angie (Tom) James of Bowling Green, KY and Julie (Seth) Alcorn of Spotsylvania, VA: one son Matt (Veronica) Whitton of Dandridge, TN as well as 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Rheaq was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Steve Wootton and her stepfather Al Wootton.
