Richard Hood

 Richard Lee Hood, age 64 of St. Robert, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at the University Hospital in Columbia.   Richard was born on June 13, 1951, in Maryville, Missouri, a son to the late Jesse Robert and Bessie (Stephenson) Hood.   Richard served his country in the United States Army until his retirement.   Richard was a member of CVMA 4-11.   Richard enjoyed being outside riding his motorcycle.   Richard is survived by: his daughter, Sharon Gage of Omaha, NE; two granddaughters, Zoe and Zia Gage of Omaha, NE; and two nieces, Lori Williams and Carrie Coulter.   In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by: a daughter Kristy Hood; two sisters, Betty Williams and Carolyn Hood; and a nephew, Michael Williams   A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 15,2016, at Noon at the Sunshine Café in St. Robert, Missouri.   Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Special Olympics.
