Richard Dean Martin

Richard Dean Martin, age 62 of St. James/Rolla, passed away Monday December 30, 2024, at Phelps health in Rolla.

Richard was born October 9, 1962, a son to the late Bill and Slyvia (Willis) Martin.

Richard was a 1981 graduate of Rolla High School.

On August 22, 1987, he was united in marriage to Anna Watson in Rolla. She survives at the home.

Richard was the owner of Martin Electric for 35 years. He enjoyed live concerts, fishing and going to national parks

In addition to his spouse of 37 years, Richard is survived by, one daughter, Brittany Copeland and her husband Tye and their two daughters Kyler and Kaylen Copeland, one son, Ben Martin and his partner, Maddie Pilkenton and their twin daughters Reagan and Gracie Martin all of St. James.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Martin.

A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Oak Meadow Country Club.

Expressions of sympathy will be collected at the celebration of life to be used for a memorial tree and benches for both St. James and Rolla Parks.
