Robert D. Chretien

 Robert D. Chretien, 83, of Salem passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side on January 24, 2025.

He was born in Lawrence, Massachesutts on October 20, 1941, to the late Emile and Annette (Gingras) Chretien. 

He served in the US Navy on an aircraft carrier from 1960 to 1964. He later became a master electrician.

In his free time, he enjoyed motorcycling, camping, hiking, skiing, reading, and working with his hands.

Robert is survived by his daughter Cheryl Chretien and her partner Leigh of Summersville, daughter Charlene (Timothy) Thompson and grandson Seth of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Robert L. Chretien of Danville, Virginia.

Per his wishes there will not be a service.
