Robert E. Dodds Jr.

Robert E. Dodds Jr, of Eldon, Missouri, was born December 31, 1962 in Waynesville, Missouri to Norma Dodds and Robert E. Dodds Sr. He passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 62, in Eldon, Missouri.

Robert attended Waynesville High School. After graduating, he pursued his love of music his entire life. After 20 years on the road travelling around the country in several bands, Robert started his own business called Quality Audio Productions. Robert served as a DJ and sound producer for countless weddings, school dances, and other events. In his spare time, he devoted everything to swimming, skateboarding, and playing guitar - sometimes both at the same time.

He is survived by his children, Ryan Dodds, of Eldon, Missouri; Dylan Dodds, of Columbia, Missouri; Briana Matyi, of Washington State; and a nephew that he raised as a son, Chase Cook, of Eldon, Missouri; his five loving grandchildren, four from Chase and one from Briana; father, Robert E. Dodds Sr., of Waynesville, Missouri; close friend and former spouse, Christi Anne Matyi; the Rollotrend Lane Gang- all the kids he helped raise and support and considered family; and many friends, bandmates, and fans of his music.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Dodds, who passed away on October 15, 2017.

A celebration of Robert's life will take place on Sunday, April 13, 2025 beginning at 12:00pm at 4612 Lakehurst Circle, Osage Beach, Missouri 65065.
