Ryan Curtis

Ryan Daniel Ross Curtis age 33 St. James, Missouri, formerly from Pekin, IL. died suddenly in a tragic car accident on the morning of January 4, 2024. He was born August 28, 1990, in Pekin Il.

    He was proceeded in death by many loved ones and is greeted with open arms in Heaven.

    He was a certified electrician and roofer, currently working for D & C General Construction of MO while building his farm that he called his social experiment (he loved the bartering system). He was a jack of all trades and there was not a job on earth he could not “do da”.

    He was a very genuine person that would do anything for anyone. He had a good heart, a silly personality, and an infectious smile. He was always the loudest and craziest person in the room. Good or bad, he always left an impression.

   He leaves behind a fiancé Ruth Peterson, of St. James MO; 8 children Camden and Carter Lietz (11) Pekin, IL. Caysen Lohnes (6) Pekin, IL. Carlee and Cylee Peterson (1) St. James MO, Aaron Peterson (5 months) St. James, MO. Two bonus daughters Lilliana Lester (9) and Ava Lester (8) Streator IL. His mother, Lisa Rose, St. James, MO, father, Pekin, IL. Grand parents of Greencove Springs FL and several siblings that includes 5 brothers, 4 sisters, 2 brother in-law, 3 sister in-laws, and 22 nieces and nephews who loved their “Uncle Ryan Dork”.  As well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. All of which, will miss him dearly.

    Services will be held on Saturday the 13th of January 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 1301 S 14th St, Pekin, IL 61554. Pastor Randy Justus will conduct the service and immediately following there will be a gathering downstairs with food and refreshments.
