Sharon Marie Duncan, age 81 of Rolla, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at her home.
Sharon was born December 27, 1942, in Rolla, a daughter to the late Orville Reed and Melba Eileen (Warren) Lewis.
Sharon was a 1960 graduate of Rolla High School.
After graduating, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Ronald Duncan in Rolla. He preceded her in death.
Sharon worked as a dietary aid at a nursing home and at Darlene's Antiques where she was paid to knit afghan's to be sold in the store. This amazed her, as this was just a hobby to her. She later started working with her husband at Duncan Moving and Storage until her retirement.
Sharon was a member of TOPS for several decades. An organization that supports and guides those trying to lose weight.
She was proficient at the art of crocheting and knitting and loved to be challenged by new patterns.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Rolla.
Sharon is survived by, two daughters, Bonnie (Tim) Giesler of Willard, MO and Stephanie (Bryan) Adams of Wildwood, MO, a daughter-in-law, Dana Duncan of Rolla, two sisters, Arlene (Harvey) of Rolla and Darlene (Hugo) Of Rolla, two brothers, Eddie (Mary) of Rolla and Greg (Carla) of Rolla as well as 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and spouse, Sharon was preceded in death by, two sons, Kenneth Jr, and Bradley and three brothers, Dale, Larry and Rodney.
Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
Sharon will be greatly missed by many family and friends
