Vicki Lynn Lewis-Fritz, 67, of Rolla, MO, passed away at Phelps Health Hospital on January 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving friends. Born on November 15, 1957, in Texas to Clifford and Beverly Fritz, Vicki lived a life defined by faith, service, and an unwavering love for others.

Vicki proudly joined the United States Army in November 1977, where she served with honor as a military police officer. Her time in the military reflected her strength, discipline, and dedication to protecting others, qualities that remained hallmarks of her character throughout her life.

A devout Christian, Vicki was an active and cherished member of her church community in Newburg, MO, for many years. She found joy in serving others, especially as the director of the church’s annual Vacation Bible School program, where her creativity and love for children left a lasting impact. Vicki had a gift for encouragement, often writing heartfelt cards to soldiers overseas, members of her congregation, and her beloved friends and family. Her words of kindness and support were a source of comfort and inspiration to all who received them.

Vicki’s creativity extended into her love of crafting. She could often be found with scissors, glue, and yarn in hand, creating thoughtful gifts and decorations that brought joy to those around her. Her family will always cherish the memory of her handmade treasures, each crafted with love and care.

One of Vicki’s most beloved traditions was making Monkey bread and egg casserole for her grandchildren, Madaysia and Corgan Ray, every Christmas morning. Her kitchen was filled with laughter, the scent of cinnamon, and the warmth of family during the holidays—a legacy her loved ones will continue to honor in her memory.

Vicki is survived by her daughter, Tealok Ray, and her two loving grandchildren, Madaysia Ray and Corgan Ray, who were the light of her life. Her unwavering faith and selfless love will continue to guide and inspire them.

A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, with details about the location to be announced. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her memory and the remarkable life she lived.

Vicki will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her boundless kindness, steadfast faith, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy of love and service will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
