William "Chris" Christopher Gray

William Christopher Gray, or Chris, as most people knew him, made his final journey home on Thursday, July 6, 2023, in Rolla, MO.

Chris was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son.

Chris loved to be outdoors and spend time with his wife. Together they enjoyed hiking, trips to the mountains of Montana and sitting around a bonfire.

 He was an avid sports lover, although he could never really settle on a team. He could sell snow to an Eskimo if he needed to. He was loved by many and is already surely missed.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, James Gray of Tennesse, his son, Sean Dahlman of Montana and a grandson, Landon Pennock of Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Gray of Arkansas, his mother Melba (Nelson) Gray of West Virginia, his children, Ashlee and Jake of Missouri, Garrett Gray of Missouri, Heather and Adam Tapp of Arkansas, Kristin and Kyle Pennock of Missouri and nine grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the First Christian Church in Lebanon, MO, with lunch for the family to follow.
